"We hope to eliminate any of the
sites that ad•e unsuitable as quickly
as possible."
Meetings have been scheduled for
each of the groups of residents
living on or near an area identified
as a candidate landfill site, in order
to provide further information. In
addition, a formal .public meeting
will be held for the general public
to review the work completed to
date (including the Stage 2C Sum-
mary Report) and provide com-
ments and ask questions.
This meeting will be held in June.
Further work will be undertaken
in order to rank and identify a
preferred site. This includes confir-
ming that no constraints are present.
on the candidate landfill site areas
which would eliminate sites from
further consideration.
Detailed studies will be under-
taken on remaining sites in order to
develop 'a ranking of candidate
sites.
The preferred site will be iden-
tified in the Stage 3A Report.
