by Pat Livingston
Mary Lou Raynard, the former
owner of Buffy's Burger. Bar, may
be out of the restaurant business,
but she's still confined to the
kitchen - at her own choosing.
Raynard, using the knowledge
gained during seven Years in the
food industry, embarked upon a
similar career .she runs from her
Havelock Street, home. Country
Citchen Catering was established
when the new owners of her former
business expressed no desire in
continuing a. catering line she had
developed in conjunction with the
restaurant.
Raynard's logo "delivered from
our kitchen to your's" says it all.
No matter the number you want to
feed, no matter the type of food
you desire, Raynard will cook it
and deliver it. She says, "There
seemed to be a need for this type of
service. There are a lot. of older
ladies who cannot bake anymore,
and a lot of younger ones who
simply don't have the time to do
it."
In addition to catering to smaller,
home gatherings,: Raynard offers a
full banquet service at the location
of your choice. She hires local
people to het work at the events.
Her bakin specialties revolve
around a w• a range of desserts
including ack Forest. Cake and
bread which she makes each Friday.
