The President Isabel Thompson opened with a reading and a prayer. The rollcall was an exchange of recipes and a bible verse. Barbara Bushell had the devotions' and the theme of the meeting was "Grumbling and Complaining." Wp should look at each situation with the right perspective. ' This was followed by a business. period. Owing to the uncertainty of the weather the meeting closed and lunch was served. INLOUGH by May Boyle the loss of her brother. Mr, and Mrs. Stewart Lane have moved fromtheir farm home west of here to their new home at Luck - Mrs. C.(Sr.) at her daughter Vivian Parkinson's home. All is pretty well there. Fred Guest had successful eye surgery in London and is much improved. We wish him a good recovery., We extend sympathy to the Hed- ley family and relatives in the death of the late Mervyn Hedley; also to the relatives of th&='late Beatrice McQuillin, who for some years taught at the 10th school, S.S. No. 3 and boarded at the home of the late Mr. and Mrs. Eldon Eck- enswiller. Sympathy is also extended to Grand and Dorothy. Mrs. Cook introduced Peggy Henderson, and proceeded to act as a reporter asking many interesting questions about their daughter Clara, who is working in Malawai. Mrs. Henderson shared some photos of her daughter at her work. Rolicall was answered with. an Easter hymn. - Water, meeting Only eight people turned out for the annual Whitechurch water imeeting on Mar. 15. During the business section, main- tenance. Man Angus Falconer gave his report on the system for the year stating .there were no problems. The water fee is $85/year if paid by Apr. 1, :or $90 thereafter. - The new water Sampler is Brenda Ward and the current president, .
