limiting the Brussels attack to very
few shots on net.
Bulls vs Teeswater
Thekucknow Bulls then faced
Teeswater team in the second round
and were led by James Mann and
Joe Murray with three goals each
while goaltender Mike Wilson
played a very strong game in net.

The . Sharks second game was
against Tiverton who had pulled off
an earlier upset of the favored
Ripley team. The Sharks came out
strong building up a 4 - 1 first
period lead, while coasting to a 9 -
2 victory.
Daniel Drennan started the
scoring on a setup form Luke Dren-

goals and add another assist while

and then added a late goal assisted
by Kyle Dorscht to take a 2 - 0
lead in the second period.

ding by the Bulls Mike Wilson held
the Sharks scoreless for the first

perhaps came when Sharks' goal -
tender Darren Austin "used his
head" in making a key save in the
middle of- the second period. From
that point on, the Sharks went on
the offence and were ,rewarded in
the first shift of the third .period
when Daniel Drennan came down

assist from his centre, Luke Dren-
nan.
On the same shift Daniel Drennan
drove in his second goal of the
game to knot the score at 2 - 2.

It was anybodys game at that
point as the play went from end to
end with goaltenders 'Austin and
Wilson turning aside each shot. •
Blake Alton, playing his right
wing position perfectly fired in a
big rebound from Cody Hamilton's
initial shot to put the Sharks ahead
3. - 2. Second assist went to Cory

Sharks when Luke Drennan, with

sixth Bull attacker, picked up a

been charged with possession of a
narcotic and being an occupant of a
motor vehicle in which a restrictdd
weapon was being carried.'
"This has brought a lot of concern
to the police that we're ,funding
drugs and guns together," OPP
Staff Sergeant Al Neville said.
He said it is becoming, a trend for
kids to carry replicas of weapons
with them, including pellet guns
that look like real guns.
He said they cany them around in
their cars and "put on a show."
"If officers Continue to be
confronted with handguns, someone
is going to get hurt."
"Drugs and . guns don't mix.
Sooner or later someone gets hurt,
accidentally shot or intentionally.
shot."
He said ,the OPP have had some
information that leads them to
believe the gun was carried around
at Walkerton . District Secondary
School.
"I don't think the good kids
should tolerate this."
He said the good kids shouldn't
have to deal with others brandishing
weapons.
"Eventually it's going oin to be one
don't mix
of them that gets hurt."
And he warned what could
happen if officers are confronted
with a pellet gun.
He said they don't have time to
recognize it as a replica and they're
not going to ask questions.
"There's not art officer here who
wants to end up killing a kid for
what they think is a joke."
He said it's up to parents,
• teachers and students to report these
things.
And there are still two guns out
there.
Also taken from the Walkerton
area home was a .32 revolver and a
.22 revolver.
