WOAA play-offs under way
The Lucknow Novice "B" team
travelled to Belgrave on Mon., Feb.
7.
Belgrave scored two goals in the
fust, but Jesse Johnston was able to
score from a pass from Graham
Cook before the end of the period.
Belgrave scored early in the second-,
and Lucknow bounced back with a
goal by Derek Quinlan, assisted by
David Conley.
The Belgrave team scored two
more goals in )he second, while
Lucknow was able to fight back
with a goal scored by David Con-
ley, assisted by Ryan Rivett.
The opposition team was able to
score two more in the third to finish
the game 7 - 3 in favor of
Belgrave:
Fri., Feb. 11 the boys travelled to
Belmore. In the first period Luke
Van Osch started the scoring as-
sisted by Ryan Rivett and Derek
Hoggart and David Cameron- with
help by Derek ,Quinlan and Kevin
Debruyn for a one goal lead 2 - 1.
Belmore managed to get three

goals in the second but Lucknow
fought hard with Luke scoring
again assisted by Jesse Johnston
and Graham Cook, and David
Cameron . scoring assisted by
Michael Fisher and Derek Hoggart.
David Cameron completed his hat
trick in the third period assisted by
Luke Van Osch and Jesse Johnston
for an exciting finish of 5 - 4 for
Lucknow.
Sat., Feb, 12 saw • the ' team
playing in Lucknow against
Howick. It was a close game but
Lucknow was defeated 2 - 1 with
the only goal going to Blair tilor-
, rison unassisted.
The boys returned to Howick.
Sun., Feb. 13 but were unable to
come away with a win with another
2 - 1 loss. The goal going. to
Ivlichael Fischer assisted by Derek
Quinlan.
Face, offs in Belgrave, Belmore

Lucknow started their second
round of W.O.A.A. playoffs against
Chesley on Feb. 7 in Chesley. Both
teams played a hard strong game
with Chesley coming out with a 6 -
5. win. •
The second• game was played in
Lucknow on Feb. 8. Againboth
teams played well but Chesley won
with a score of 6 - 4.
The third' and final game was
played, again in. Lucknow on Sat:,
Feb. 12 with Chesley winning 4 2
and winning the W.O.A.A. division;
Goals scored in all three games
for Lucknow were - Craig Moffat
(3), Dennis Lubbers (2), Jonathon
MacKinnon (4), Dale Courtney (1);
and Ean Moffat (1).
Assists went to Craig Moffat,,,
Jonathon MacKinnon, Jonathon

Leading Chesley to the win was a
