A VIOLENT STORM
On July 13, a violent storm
damaged buildings, trees, and
crops in an area in Huron and
Wellington Counties. Bill
Wood of Palmerston. who
owns this field of corn south of
Teviotdale, said it was one of
the better corn crops in the
area. He also lost over 100
acres of spring grain. Wood
said that the wind and hail
lasted Tess than five minutes
but it stampeded his cattle and
some were cut by the hail.
