injectable solution

registration for TetrajectR LA, a
new oxytetracycline injectable
solution for both cattle and swine.
Just one shot controls 12 cattle
diseases: bacterial pneumonia and
pasteurellosis (both associated
with shipping fever complex),
mastitis, metritis, calf scours
(bacterial enteritis), foot rot, navel
i11, calf diptheria, leptospirosis,
Blackleg/malignant edema,
peritonitis, and joint ill.
TetrajectR LA is specially for-
mulated to provide sustained an-
tibiotic blood levels for up to four
days following a single dose. It
puts cattle on a strong treatment
program against infections and
prevents the stress of giving
repeated, daily injections. With a
short 21 -day withdrawal period,
TetrajectR LA offers more flexible
marketing options to producers.
In swine, TetrajectR LA is in-
dicated in the treatment of
erysipelas, bacterial enteritis, lep-
tospirosis, metritis, mastitis, and
bacterial pneumonia.

Acquisitions for Gehl
Gehl Company has announced
the acquisition of one company
and certain assets of another which
will broaden the company's pro-
duct line to include manure
spreaders and waste -management
equipment.
Purchased by Gehl are Hedlund
Manufacturing Company, Inc.,
with plants based in Boyceville, WI
and Myerstown, PA, and certain
product lines of Kasten Manufac-
turing, Allenton, WI.
All new Gehl products are in
production or will be for the forth-
coming season. "In addition to
these new products, we're also in-
troducing a complete new line of
three forage boxes, a new
2,050 -pound rated industrial skid
loader, and new fingerwheel rakes,
giving our sales force a total of 23
new products," said Bernard
