REGULATED DAIRY FEEDS
"DOUBLE -PLUS" is the first dairy
ration in Ontario that contains
controlled -solubility carbohydrates
and proteins. It provides an average
17% increase in milk production
through a regulated supply of key
nutrients.
Unlike most rations, only
controlled amounts of the carbo-
hydrate and protein in DOUBLE -
PLUS are digested when they enter
the rumen. This regulating action
provides a more constant level of
nutrition. It can increase milk without
unhealthy extra grain feeding.
This more direct, more efficient
feeding of protein and non-structural
carbohydrates marks a new milestone
in Dairy feeding. In over 50 on-farm
field trials, cows giving an average
of 17 litres of milk per day increased
their daily output by an average of
3 litres within one week. Individual
herd increases as high as 5 litres
were recorded.
DOUBLE -PLUS is a natural
outcome of CO-OP research,
development. and continuing
leadership in the field of controlled
protein solubility. It is available as a
complete feeding program. or as a
supplement to balance your own
dairy feeds. It can help you meet
your quota, increase your BCA. and
control your feed costs. Find out just
how profitable this exclusive new
CO-OP program can be. 0N,,etai ittl
