They'd wish for peace on earth
If I had one wish for Christmas it
would be for everyone to live in
peace with everyone else. All wars
would end, no hatred to our neigh-
bors, and no more suffering for the
poor. If everyone loved each other
the poor would be poor no more
because we would share with each
other.
Movie stars would give to the
hungry and give their homes for
people to live in.
People wouldn't commit crimes
anymore so we wouldn't have to
worry about any of our possessions
being stolen.
Another thing that would be great
about having peace would be all
animals would be free kind not
endangered anymore.
Michelle VanderVaart
Gr. 8, LDCS.
If I had one wish for Christmas it
would be to give money, food,
clothes and all of my love to the
poor people like in Somalia and
around the whole world I would
also buy Christmas presents for the
poor people in the whole world and
for the orphan children.
Iwould also tell people about the
true and the real meaning of
Christmas that God sent an angel to
Mary and Joseph that a virgin
would give birth to a son and call
him Jesus'. There would be great
joy throughout the whole earth.
Everyone on earth were of great
joy. When Jesus died on the cross
to save everyone sins everyone was
sad, . crying and mourning when
Jesus died. When Jesus rose from
the dead everyone was surprised
and shocked but then they were all
happy.
I also wish .that God would find a
cure for cancer or for other diseases
and would try to heal them. I also
wish that there would be peace on
earth with glad tidings of great joy.

If I had one wish for Christmas, it
would be peace for everyone. There
would be no prejudice and everyone
'would love each other. Everyone
would also believe m the one true
God and no one would be poor
because they would be rich in
God's love.
Marie Askes
Gr. 7, LDCS.
If 1 had one wish for Christmas it
would be for my grandpa Kuyven-
hoven to live at least another 30
healthy years. My grandpa has had
many heart problems. Last year he
came pretty close to dying.
My grandpa is very wise, loving
and caring. He is a very special
person in my life.
It would be great to have him live
a longer, healthier life. That way I
could spend a lot more special time
with him. I'love him!

If I had one wish for Christmas I
would wish for a day at Skydome.
I would be able to eat with all of
the Blue Jays. After that I would be
able to go to batting practice with
Roberto. He would give me some
pointers on fielding, batting, and
stealing bases. Come game time, I
would sit in the dugout and watch
the game from there. It would. be
the best game of my life!

If 1 had one wish for Christmas I
would wish for health and hap-
piness. Then no one would be sick

If I had one wish for Christmas it
would be to visit my cousin in
Papua New Guinea. I would fly
from Toronto to California, stay
there for a week and visit different
places. Next -I would fly to Hong
Kong stay there for three days. The
next place I would go would be
Australia I would visit Anne Red-
mond. She lived in the house down
the road. If she was doing great I
would fly to Papua New Guinea. I
would visit my cousins, stay for a
month or two. I would fly home.
Then my youth group would go
on another food drive for the Sal-
vation Army. We would try to
make a difference.

Christmas at my house is
like...A dream
by Russ Mann Gr. 5/6, LCPS
Christmas morning I make lots of
noise to wake up Mom and Dad. I
look in my stocking and see the
little surprises and then open my
presents from Santa.
Once all of the presents are
opened we have honey buns for
breakfast. They are very good.
After I am done thanking people, I
go try on new clothes, and play
with the toy I just received.
For the rest of the day I play, try
on, and play some more.
I hope you enjoy Christmas just
as much asIdo, ...
Christmas at my house...

I get up it is Christmas Day. I
open my presents and start to play.
We write my uncle a big long note.
It goes to B.C. and reaches him by
plane or boat. He feels happiness
and joy when he receives the letter,
and every year it gets better and
better. We miss our uncle on
Christmas Day. But our family
'spends it in a nice way.
