keep us from Satan's danger, He
came to die for us. Jesus never
made any fuss He always loves us.

Christmas at my house is hectic.
People are always rushing around
putting presents under the tree.
Christmas Eve we bug our parents
to open the presents. Finally they
say 'yes'. I have a lot of fun at
Christmas. We go to family
Christmases that are usually held at
a restaurant. When we get back to
my grandparents' house we go
sledding.

Christmas at my house is; loving,
thanking, giving, decorating, gues-
sing, laughing, singing, receiving,.
and remembering. We celebrate
Jesus' birth. We meet with the
family and have a good time. We
watch movies and play with our
presents. It's a very, happy time.

Christmas at my house is fun. The
week before Christmas we get our
tree up and decorate it. At night our
grandma, aunt and uncle and
cousins come to our house to have
supper and to open everyone's
presents. After we open the
presents, my Mom and Dad have
coffee with everyone and we play
with our cousins until they have to
go home.

Christmas at our house is pretty
busy. First we do our family draw.
Then we do our cousins' draw.
Then we go to our Grandpa's house

by Jessa Taylor
Each Christmas is different and
we have a different tree every year.
Amanda and I wake up at 6:00.
We tip toe. down stairs and go into
the livingroom. I see a nice big
Christmas ' tree and there are so
many presents under the tree. We
look at it for a minute and then we
tip toe to our room and go to bed
again. .
My family wakes up and goes
downstairs to the livingroom. We
wait for my Dad to come into the
livingroom. When everybody is
together we open our gifts.
I mostly got Barbies and stuffed
animals. We all clean up the
livingroom. Amanda and I go our

Sometimes I go downstairs to
help -my Mom cook. When dinner
is prepared my family goes to eat.
My Mom makes turkey, cranberries,
potatoes, pickles and we drink V-8..
We play outside and then Amanda
and I go to bed.
What a wonderful day!
and open some presents. Then our
church does a play and we read
about baby Jesus in the Bible. I like
to read about Jesus. Have a Happy
Christmas!

Christmas at my house is really
fun, opening presents. It's like a
family thing. I like Christmas
because lots of people come to your
house. There's lots of Christmas
parties. You see lots . of friends.
Christmas is the "best time of the
year. That's what I think.

Christmas at my house is fun.
About December 11 we pick out a
tree and bring it home. It takes us
about half an hour to set it up in
the right place. Then after a few
days we decorate it.
On Christmas Eve we turn off all
of our lights and eat by candlelight.
After supper and after the dishes
are done we open our presents one
by one. We play with them for
about one or two hours then we go
to bed. Josh and I stay up the
whole night and then go downstairs
at about 3 or 4 o'clock to see what
is in our stockings. When we get
tired of the stuff we go back to bed.
We eat breakfast and get ready to
go to church. After church we play
with our presents. Christmas is my
favorite time of the year. After all,
it's Jesus' birthday.

Christmas at Grandma's is a great
dinner. We open presents, lots of
them. We play and play and play.
Then we go home. The next day we
go to church and re -learn w.hat
Christmas is really about, - Christ's
birthday.

Christmas at my house is like a
massive day off from school. It is a
time when I can see all of my
cousins and visit with them. We
give and receive presents. We have
nice juicy turkey and ham meals. I
like having warm food just out of
the oven.

Christmas at my house is like a
summer holiday. You see all your
family and all your friends (that
haven't gone away.) It's full of fun.
Decorating the tree is one of the
funniest parts. With all sorts of
decorations to use. But the best part
is finding out what you get for
Christmas. Now that's what
Christmas is like at my house.

Josh would
like a
guaranteed
trip to heaven
If 1 had one wish for Christmas it
would be a guaranteed trip to
Heaven for eternity when I died.
Before I dies! I would glorify God
and du the best I could to follow
God's commands.
When I got there first I' would
meet Jesus, next I would meet Paul
and Peter and ask them all kinds of
questions. Then I would meet
everyone else like my parents and
Solomon, Abraham, the disciples,
and Gideon. I would be
overwhelmed at all of the jewels
that were in the gates and walls and
the golden roads in the new
Jerusalem.
