ween the pipes, came away with a

Lancers win
and lose in
weekend action.
The Lucknow Lancers picked up
just one win in three weekend
games. 'Their record now stands at
7 wins, 6 losses.
With a short-handed staff on
Friday, the Lancers were able to net
nine goals against Dundalk which is
usually enough to win the game.
However, on this night the Lancers
could have used seven more goals
as Dundalk walked away with the
victory.
Saturday night the Lancers
managed to steal an 8 to 7 win over
Lion's Head with Chris Irwin
scoring the winning goal midway
through the third.
The Ripley Wolves came to town
Sunday night and unlike the last
game where the hungry Wolves
were treated to a full course meal,
they had to settle for soup and salad
bar as they edged the Lancers 5 to
3.
Dale Priestap led the scoring with
four goals, while Grant Gilchrist
and Chris Irwin had three each.
Rob Thompson and Brad Murray
netted two each with singles going
to Don Gammie, Darren Lindsay,
Wayne Phillips, Scott Hackett,
Mike Whitcroft and Brad Priestap.
The Lancers' next home game is
Jan. 2 against Lion's Head.
