community newspapers in the area. In 1993.hundreds of
advertisers, retailers classified and national advertisers used

equipment, paint, lumber, microwaves, books, houses, home
furnishings, sports equipment, automobiles, yard goods ... the

Christmas at my house is like...
by Devin Petteplace Gr. 5/6,
LCPS
I open a gift on Christmas Eve.
It's about 9:00 and everyone's
sleeping and hoping that Santa will
leave candy and toys for every little
kid in the world.
In the moming we wake up and
go to the tree to get all the gifts.
We hand them out to Shane,
Mom, Dad and don't forget me,
because this is an event no one can
m iss.
Now we pack up and after our
family is through we have many
memories to last until next year.

Buying presents for people,
Wrapping presents,
Putting up a Christmas tree,
Decorating the Christmas tree,
Having relatives over,
Opening presents from relatives,
Playing with presents,
Eating food,
Playing hockey in the basement,
Having fun with cousins,
Saying good-bye to relatives,
Going to bed,
Waiting patiently until next year.
