OBITUARY
Hazel Winnifred Twamley
1907 - 1993
Hazel Winnifred Twamley, 86, a
resident of Knollcrest Lodge, Mil-
verton, died there on Nov. 30,
1993. She was a member of the
Knox Presbyterian Church, Lis-
towel.
The daughter of the late Joseph
Maxwell and Mary Anne (Webster)
Raynard, was born May 4, 1907 in
Kinloss Township.
She is survived by three children,
Gordon and his wife, Sheila, of
R.R. 3, Brechin, Bill and his wife,
Betty, of St. Marys, and Mary and
her husband, Bud Bitton, of
Hanover; three sisters-in-law, Clara
Raynard of Lucknow, Violet
Raynard of Goderich, and Isabel
Mullin of Goderich; 10
grandchildren and 14 great
grandchildren.
Mrs. Twamley was predeceased
by two husbands, Cecil Mullin and
George Twamley; two brothers and
two sisters, Nelson Raynard, Melvin
Raynard, Pearl Ferguson and Lillian
Alton.
Rev. V. Tozer of the Knox Pres-
byterian Church, Listowel, con-
ducted the funeral from the MacK-
enzie and McCreath Funeral'Home,
Lucknow, on Dec. 2.
Flower bearers were three great
grandchildren, William Johnson,
James Johnson and Emme Mehlen-
bacher.
Pallbearers were Doug Raynard,
Bruce. Raynard, Jim Wilson, 13il1
Moffat, Steven Bitton and Joe
Johnson.
Spring -interment Greenhill

What a joy it is to be able to
walk or drive around town and see
all the Christmas displays and
colored lights as people are
preparing for the festive season.
Many special activities are taking
place with parades, bazaars,
programs, and services which are
all part of the Christmas
celebrations.
Jessie Alton is home from
Australia visiting her many friends
and relatives. She expects to be
here until the middle of January.
Several relatives and friends at-
tended the memorial service at the
Listowel Presbyterian Church on
Tuesday for the late J.C. Reid, a
former Lucknowite.
Sympathy is extended to the
friends and relatives of Hazel
Twamley who passed away last
week. She had been Hazel Raynard,
who was married to the former
Cecil Mullin and they lived in

Happy birthday to Allen Lamon
who celebrated his birthday

Austin and Mildred -Loree spent
the weekend in Niagara Falls where
they enjoyed the Festival of Lights.
Canada's Queen Victoria Park is
decked in 20,000 plus twinkling
multi -colored lights on more than
70 trees. The park also features
nearly 40 motion light displays,
including the "Enchantment of
Disney Motion Light Displays".
Eight tables of shoot were in play
at the Drop in Centre last Friday.
High players were Ruth Conley and
Joe Courtney, with Blanche McCal-
lum and Tom Phillips in low spots.
Andy Scott and Teresa Courtney
tied for the most shoots.
