Novice B play
seesaw game •
11 was seesaw scoring on Nov. 25
when the Lucknow and Ripley
Novice B teams met. Lucknow
opened the scoring on a goal by
Derek Quinlan, assisted by. Derck
Hoggart. Replying to Ripley's tie
goal was Luke Van Osch with an
assist from Graham Cook.
Dustin Farrish, the Lucknow
goalie, held the team in the game
after Ripley scored again to end the
game at a 2 - 2 tie.
Teeswater vs Lucknow
Lucknow came out strong in the
first period on this game on Nov.
27, with Luke Van Osch denting
the twine first. Assists went to Jesse
Johnston and Graham Cook.
Teeswater came back in thu
second period to tie the score and
continued their attack with seven
unanswered goals.
Novice A goalie
makes key saves
Lucknow's Novice A goalie,
Billie Johnston, came up with some
key saves against a strong Howick
offence on Nov. 27.
Midway through the first period,
Howick lit up the scoreboard. Luck -
now replied when Mac Hackett and
Bob Raymond set up a nice passing
play to enable Jeff McNee to tie it
up at one each.
Early in the second period,
Howick scored again. Johnston
continued to rob the offence, but
could not get around the Howick
netminder, Late in the period,
.Howick was up by two goals.
Early in the third, Howick broke
away again to open the gap. Despite
the time spent in Howick's end,
Lucknow was unable to tally any
points. The Howick netminder stood
his ground leading his team to a 5 -
1 win over Lucknow. None -the -
less Lucknow, it was an exciting
game to watch.

Atom B's dominate game Todd was hot
with Ripley; '5 - 1 in the net
for Juveniles
The Lucknow Atom B's
dominated the Nov: 22 game they
played in' Ripley, holding their
opponents to one goal but wracking
up five themselves.
Ripley's lone goal was scored
early in the first period. Lucknow
picked up the pace and it was full
steam ahead during the first two
periods when they dented the twine
five times.
The third period, although
scoreless, was quite exciting. •
Goal getters were Dan McDonagh
and Scott Austin with two each, and
a single by Jordan Schell. Jeremy
Austin and Matthew Martin picked
up two assists, with Scott Austin
credited with a single.
Kincardine vs Lucknow
The Nov: 27 game was a thrilling
one for fans to watch as the
hometown ream hosted Kincardine.
Team work paid off for Lucknow

brother Scott.
Kincardine tied the game only to
have Corey Robertson feed the
puck to Dan McDonagh who scored
to put the team ahead by one.
In the third period, Kincardine
tied the game again. With two•
minutes left in game time, Lucknow
pulled their goalie to apply the
pressure on Kincardine. Matthew
Martin put the puck away in the
lower corner. With time running out
for the hometown team, Kincardine
managed to tie the game at three
just as the buzzer sounded.
Blue Weins played an excellent
game between the pipes.
Atom A's tally two losses
in back-to-back games
The Lucknow Atom A's tallied
two losses in back-to-back games
on the weekend. .
Friday night's game with Kincar-
dine was a close one. Russel Mann
replied to Kincardine's first goal',
when set up with a nice pass in
front" of the net from Johnathan
Drennan.
Kincardine went ahead in the
third, and although Lucknow had
many chances they weren't able to
materialize on any of them. The
game endo: with a doubled score of
2 - 1 in favor of. Kincardine.
Blue Weins and Andrew Pickard
played well, sharing duties between
the pipes.
Drayton vs Lucknow '
In Saturday morning play, it was
soon evident that the • visiting
Drayton team was strong and their

now team in a seesaw battle with
the Tara team, on Saturday night.
With time running out in the third
period, coach Whitcroft pulled Todd
.,from the net and added as . extra
attacker. An exciting few minutes
were played with. Tara missing the
open net twice. The game ended
Tara 4, Lucknow 3.
Lucknow was a little, short in
manpower and some Midgets were
needed to fill the spacess. Scoring
for Lucknow were Duane Porter
from John Feeley and Doug Helm,
and Matt Drennan added two from
D, Porter, Steve Adams and Chris
Humphrey.

Bantam A's
get short
hand of score
goalie had horseshoes around his -
stick. The opponents scored twice
in the first, to take a 2 - 0 lead.
Paddy Lyon found the right spot
when Chris Hackett passed the puck
his way. Drayton popped in
another, but Russel Mann managed
to rack up a beauty on •a pass from
Devin Petteplace.
Going into the third, , Lucknpw
was trailing 'by one and the future
looked bright. Their hopes were
dashed by the determined visitors
and the boys in stripes didn't help
the cause either.
The game ended with another
doubled score, 6 - 3 for Drayton.

The Bantam A's came home from
Mildmay on Nov. 22; on the short
end of the score. Both Lucknow
goalies, . Tyler Brooks and Ryan
Courtney, were kept :busy at their
end of the rink.
Glenn Ferguson scored., the lone
goal for Lucknow on a pass from
Kevin Rintoul.
Final score was ' 7 to 1 for
Mildmay, although the game was
closer than the score indicated.
