Amalgamation papers signed November 25 at 11 a.m. will always be an important date in the history of Ripley and Huron Town- ship. ' Since both municipalities share many of the services anyway this seemed like a logical solution. The Reeve of Huron Township and the Reeve of Ripley welcomed the young group, and reminded them that the future of the newly joined "corporation of the Township of Huron" would be in their hands, therefore it was fitting for them to witness this event.
