This program will allow some children who become five
V•cis old between January 1, 1994 anti July 1, 1994 access
to the existing Kingergarten programs. The Beginners will
attend school with the Kindergarten Children all day on
alternate days. Admittance to Beginners classes will be
'based on spaces available and'birthdatcs. Registrations will
close on December 3. 1993. Please call the appropriate

Welcome back! Another Squash
Season is well underway. The
executive of the Lucknow Squash
club held it's fall meeting on Oct.
29.
Squash Ontario will be contacted
with respect to future clinics to be
held at the local squash court. John
Mayer and Mike Goetz volunteered
to provide assistance to new players
regarding squash rules and basic
playing techniques. Anyone
interested in playing squash or
requiring assistance is asked to
contact John at 528-3130, or Mike
at 528-2319: Membership fees for
the calendar year 1994 were
deferred to • a future executive
meeting.
The current men's ladder has 10
players. Matches have
progressed very well, and it is
anticipated that a new ladder will
be posted for November/December.
The current ladies's ladder has 12
players. A
large number of matches remain to
be played in the ladies' ladder, and
all participants are encouraged to
book times and contact the other
players in their section to arrange a
match.
Anyone interested in joining
either ladder may do so by puttin
their name and phone number on
the vacant positions on the ladder
schedule which is posted on the

The recent Halloween Tour-
nament was a great success. There
were 10 participants.
Semi-final action on the 'A' side
had Luis Posadas defeating Tom
Pegg, and John Mayer defeating Ian
Montgomery. Semi-final action on
the 'B' side resulted in Tim Kroff
defeating Mike Goetz, and Ian
Hackett defeating George Brophy.
The 'B' side final match resulted
in Tim Kroff beating Ian Hackett
for the 'B' side championship. The
'A' side final match left Luis
Posadas defeating John Mayer for
the tournament championship.
Congratulations to Luis Posadas
and Tim Kroff, and all the ether
tournament participants.
Safety on the court is a primary
concern of the Lucknow Squash
Club. All members are encouraged
to wearproper eye protection on
the court. Players are encouraged to
call lets when appropriate during a
match. An article on 'Lets and
Penalty Points' was included in the
last newsletter, and copies are
posted on the squash bulletin board.
It is also advisable to be aware of
the clock time near the end of the
court session, as there is no war-
ning when the lights go out.

Demons
exploded
Last Thursday, the Lucknow Pee
Wee B's played host to Blyth. The
home team scored first and there
was no looking back as they
exploded with a total of eight goals.
Earning points for Lucknow were
"sharp shooter" Daryl Aitchison
with four goals and three assists;
Chris Tabor with one goal and two
assists; Richard Walke one goal and
one assist; Jason Pritchard and
Mark Merium each with a goal;
Jahn Van Diepenbeek two assists;
and Nick Mann, Andy Evans and
Mike Wyndham each with one
assist.
Strong defence and solid goalten-
ding by Clint Gunter and Justin
Brown held Blyth to a single goal.
Final score Lucknow 8, Blyth 1,
The next home game will be
