funeral was held at Lions Head on
Tuesday.
Congratulations to Ricky and
Eddie who celebrated the grand
opening of their restaurant, R & E
Family Dining (formerly Buffy's),
on Saturday. Ricky, her husband
Peter and her brother Eddie live on
the 6th Concession of Kinloss.

Pinecrest residents/staff
will miss a dear friend
Residents and staff of Pinecrest
Manor Nursing Home were sad-
dened by the passing pf a dear
friend Ed Green. We will all miss
him very much. Mr. Green visited
the home every week.
Thank you to all who made our
bazaar a success again this year.
The winners of the youth volunteer
draw were: gingerbread house -
Shirley Brooks; Christmas mop doll
- Shannon Walden; wreath - Joyce
Touther.
Residents having birthdays this
month are Winnifred Nisbett Nov.
2, Louise MacDonald Nov. 5, Min-
nie Rennie Nov. 14 and Alf Patter-
son Nov. 16.
The residents are selling tickets
on some Christmas hampers. The
proceeds will go toward supplies
they may need or to let them go on
outings.
It is hoped members of the com-
munity will be able to visit the
home during December and take in
some of the Christmas activities.

given us this month and the many
volunteers who visited to entertain
and spend time with residents."
