Patricia Durnin, of Kingsbridge, recently purchased the former Val- ley Green Flowers from Donna Sue Errington. Ms. Durnin's businep will be known as Patricia's Flower Patch. She is a graduate of St. Joseph's School, Kingsbridge and Goderich District Collegiate Institute. She continued her education at the On- tario Business College. Upon graduating from the Retail Floristry course (design and business), she managed her instructor's business in Kitchener, and was employed in London prior to pursuing her goal of having her own business. Ms. Durnin said the opportunity presented itself at the right time. Her mom and dad, Betty Lou and Mike Dalton, along with brothers and sisters gave her the emotional support to embark upon "a very scary, but nice challenge." The. support of Donna Sue was also a big boost for Ms. Durnin, who said, "She made me feel like a part of the community im- mediately." Patricia's Flower Patch will feature a "flower of the month" on a regular basis. She says, "It's a nice way for the customers to get tc know different flowers." Welcome to Lucknow, Patricia.
