daughter, Courtney Elizabeth, on
Sept. 9, 1993 at Wingham District
Hospital, weighing 8 lbs. 11 oz.
Happy grandparents are Mr. and
Mrs. Reg O'Hagan and Mr. and
Mrs. Robert Johnston.
Shiels - Kevin and Juanita are
pleased to announce the safe arrival
of Mitchell Albert, a baby brother
for Quintcn. Grandparents arc
George and Beverley Fielder of
Port Albert, and Eleanor and Gary
Beaver of Crediton. Great
grandmother is Fredo Boa of Hen -
salt.
Adamson - Shepherd
Lynn Shepherd, daughter of
Isobel and Bob Shepherd, of
Lucknow and Doug Adamson,
son of Joyce Adamson and the
late Bill Adamson, of Alvinston,
were united in marriage on Aug.
6, 1993, at the Lucknow United
Church. Ruth Price, of Paisley, a
friend of the bride and John
Britton, of Ingersoll, a friend of
the groom, were the matron of
honor and groomsman. A recep-
tion followed at the Lucknow
Community Centre. Lynn and
Doug now reside at 483 Campbell

He was a member of the St. John*.
Lutheran Church, Rocky Ridge; a
master mason in Oak Harbor
Masonic Lodge 495, F.&A.M.; and
a member of the' Lodge's Fellow
Craft Team. He was also a member
of Port Clinton Lodge 1610 Loyal
Order of Moose.
Mr. Thorbahn was very involved
in youth sports coaching .t -ball and
the Oak Harbor Biddy wrestling ,
program. He was an adviser for the
Oak Harbor Area Country Kids 4-H
Club and a member of the' Ottawa
y-Junier-Fair-Board-Livesteek- X
Committee.
He leaves to mourn his passing
his wife Tina', and sons Ryan,
Nicholas and Trent, all,at home; as
well as his parents, in-laws and
several grandparents.

attended the funeral on Sept. 16:

Once again the directors of the
Lucknow Agricultural Society are
to be congratulated on another
successful Fall Fair. They had a
real line-up of Ambassador contes
tants for the Miss Mid Western
Ontario Pageant with represen-
tatives from quite an area.
Isn't Lucknow fortunate to have
two excellent bands to provide the
music so necessary for a parade?
Visiting recently with Jennie
Porteous were Donald and Mary
MacDonald of Nashville, Tenn.
Their visit was shorter this year as
they had car trouble at Toledo, .so
came on with a rental car. When
they got word their car was repaired
they returned home sooner than
they had intended.
Freda Maclnnes enjoyed ,visiting
last week with Jack, Lois and John
Maclnnes in. Palmerston and took in
the Palmerston Fall Fair,
Lillian Culbertson of Deloraine
and Mary Hackett of Souris,
Manitoba, and Allan Hunter of
Trenton spent last week visiting
friends and relatives.

Keith family honored Austin and
Mildred Loree on the occasion of
their 40th wedding anniversary at
the Chepstow Country Inn. Present
were her sisters Marion Reid and
Irene McAllister of Chesley and
Muriel and Mac Sewers, of Min-
nesing and brothers Mac of Stouf-
fv.ille, Evan and Marg of Goderich,
David and Ellen of Teeswater and
Bob and Eleanor of Toronto. The
previous Sunday the Loree family
all gathered at the home of Brad
and Shirley Kalbfleisch to honor
their parents.

Lucknow Fall Fair over the
weekend. Among those who as-
sisted with the entertainrnent were
Mr. and Mrs. Bruce Bushell and
family of here who were much
enjoyed by everyone.
• We extend sincere sympathy to
the family and relatives of the late
Laura (Bell) Taylor who 4assed
away during the week. The funeral
was held at Kincardine on Friday
afternoon. `Laura was a daughter of
the late Mr. and Mrs. George Bell
and grew up on Con. 10.
