SMYTH
In loving memory of a dear daughter
and sister, Cindy who passed away two
years ago.
Just a thought of sweet remembrance,
Just a memory fond and true,
Just a token of affection
And a heartache still for you.
More and more each day we miss you,
Though our thoughts are not revealed,
Little do they know the sorrow
That is within our hearts concealed.
Forever remembered by Mom and Dad,
Tony and Connie, Kayla and Brandon,
Cathy and Terry. "'

Dear is the one that is gone,
In memory we shall keep him
As long as the years roll on.
As we loved him,•so we miss him,
In our memory he is dear
Loved, remembered, longed for always,
Bringing many a silent tear.
'In silence we remember."

Fall sales FARC'e REPORT
It is that time of year when back-
ground operators and cow -calf men
are sizing up their stock and
decidingwhere and when to sell
them. For the yearling cattle, people
anxiously await the results from the
Wiarton Sale on Sept. 2 to see what
prices are going to be. The Wiarton
Sale is part of the Northern Cattle
Sales Network that collectively
advertises producer run sales in the
north, eastern and central parts of
Ontario. They expect to offer
24,000 head in the 24 sales. The
Network also offers a market infor-
mation line (1-800-461-9622) that
provides pre -sale information and
the prices from a sale are also
available the following day. This
number operates from Sept. 1 to
mid-November.
Producers,, both buyers and
sellers, are fortunate not only to
have this service available to them,
but also numerous local sales barns
which features special yearling and
calf sales.
Special calf sales that we are
aware of include Keady Sales Barn,
10:00 a.m., Oct. 2, 29, and Nov. 12,
Brussels Livestock 10:00 a.m., Oct.
23 and Nov. 13; and Wiarton Sales
Barn 10:00 a.m., Oct. 28.
These sales expect to offer 10,000
head of calves. As producers, we
like consumers to buy the food
Ontario grows, so let's make an
effort to buy the calves Ontario
grows!!
