Stothers "gathered in Goderich and

Dr. S.C. (Steve) Stothers, of .
Winnipeg, was M.C. at dinner on
Aug. 7 and weleorned those present.
A moment of silence was observed
for two cousins - Dr. Kay Whale
and Mrs. Mary Leone de Villen-
fagne - who passed away since the
last reunion in 1986.
Congratulations was extended to
Dr. and Mrs. S.0 Stothers and to
Dr. and Mrs. J.B. Stothers on their
40th wedding anniversary.
Present at lunch on Aug. 7 and 8
were . seven members (three
generations) of the family of
Thomas and Annie (Ellis) Stothers,
formerly of Dungannon. These
descendants came from Calgary and
Toronto.
About 50- relatives, including
many of the younger generation,
gathered at the Stothers' cottage at
Kintail on Aug. 8 for moredfeliow-
ship and visiting.
Much to her surprise, Mary Bere
was honored with a cake . and
candles for her coming birthday.
Congratulations to Mr. and Mrs.
Don Millar, nee Elizabeth Stothers
(Passmore), who were married on
Congratulations to -Heather Mac-
Dougall and Brian Bartlett who
were. married at South Kinloss
Church on Sat. Sept. 4. The couple
will live in Windsor.
Teachers, students and bus drivers
are back into a routine by now.
Good luck and have a safe year to
one and all.
Sympathy is extended to Donna
and. George McBride and family on
the death of Donna's father.
Jennifer MacKinnon is gone off
to Owen Sound to Georgian Col-
lege where she is taking Law and
Security.
Marita MacDoug"a11 is off to
University of Waterloo where she is
taking Kinesiology. David Mac-
Dougall and"Sandy Maclntyre are
back at Western and Nick Doelman
is back to Conestoga in Kitchener.
Lyndon Johnston is gone to
Niagara College at Welland where
he is taking computers in Robots
and Heavy Equipment.
South Kinloss Church had a
special event on Sunday evening
with the dedication of the new
organ during the musical :evening
put on by only .the talents of South
Kinloss which everyone really
enjoyed.
Jean Hughes gave a gift of money
before her death for the organ in
memory of Allister Hughes.
Janie Hamilton gave in memory
of her husband Gilbert and -his
sister Jewel..
The MacDonald familyi-gaveln
memory of their parents, Bill and
May MacDonald.
Present for the dedication were
the MacDonald family: Margaret
from Sarnia, Rev. Graham, his wife
Rev. Freda of Burke Falls and Dr.
Mack and Judy of Sarnia.
Mr. and Mrs. Carl Dickie of Hope.
Bay and Mr. and Mrs. Ray Cox of.
Halifax, Nova Scotia, visited on
Thursday .with Ira and Elizabeth
Dickie.
Mr. and Mrs. Gordon Burton and
Mr. and Mrs. Ed Payne of Coroun-
na'visited last week with Jack and
Blanche Needham.

June 18, 1993 and reside in Bel-
leville.
Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Bradbury (nee
Agnes Stothers) and granddaughter
Billie., of England, had spent three
weeks at Kintail at the Stothers'
cottage and returned home to
England on Aug. 11. Everyone was
glad that Dr. and Mrs. John Crispin
and family from Alabama were able
to attend as John has very poor
health and had not been to the
Lucknow area for many years.
First cousins present at the
reunion were the S.B. Stothers
family - Steve and Marilyn, of
Winnipeg; Agnes and Bill, of Brad-
bury, England; Elizabeth and Don
Millar, of Belleville; and Ruth and
Jim Schultz, of Kinmount.
Also present was the J.C. Stothers
family - Don and Shirley, of Lon-
don; Jean Carruthers, of Goderich;
and .lake and Cae, of London.
Repr sentatives. of the Isaac
Stothers family was Mrs. Anne
Edwards, of Cranbrook, B.C.; of the
Carman Stothers family were Mary
Frances and Keith Hendrick, of
Toronto; of the Jessie Stothers
Crispin family were George and
Terry of Alabama, and John and:
Yvone . of Alabama; and of the
Rachel Stothers Horton family was
Mary Horton Bere.
