Mr. and Mrs. Fred Parry of Bright
visited last weekend with George
and Betty Armstrong. Their
daughter Brook returned home with
them. She had been visiting with
her grandparents.
Mr. and Mrs. Hugh Simpson
attended the parade of Scottish
bands Saturday evening in Kincar-
dine where Hugh took part. Later in
the evening they attended the wed-
ding reception for Mr. and Mrs.
Warren Farrell at Ripley.
Mrs. Jean Sahli and family of
Windsor visited for the week -end
with her parents Hugh and Mary
Simpson.
OBITUARY
Clifford Elliott Kilpatrick
1913 - 1993
Clifford Elliott Kilpatrick, of
Lucknow, the last surviving mem-
ber of his iinmediate family, died at
University. Hospital, London, on
Sunday, Aug. 29, 1993. He was 80.
The son of of the late Milton
Kilpatrick and Clara Twamley was
bom_ on July 17, 1913 in Ashfield
Township • and farmed at RR 2,
Lucknow.
He is survived by his wife, Isabel
Pollock, and one son, Barry Kil-
patrick of Lucknow. .
He was predeceased by, two
brothers, Harvey and Melvin, and
one sister Verna.
The funeral service was con-
ducted at the MacKenzie and
McCreath Funeral Home on Sept.
with Rev. A. Cook officiating.
Pallbearers were Warren Zinn,
Russell Irvin, Russell Phillips, Keith
Cranston, Harold Cook and Dave
Elphick. I
Flower bearers - were Albert
Taylor; Jim Hunter, Vic Hey, Brian
Pollock, Wayne Pollock and Gor-
don McGratten.
Interment Dungannon Cemetery.
Shoot
results
There were' nine tables of
shoot at the drop'in centre. High
lady was Vera Purvis; low lady
was Theresa Courtney; high man
was Joe Courtney; low man was
Howard MacCallum; most shoots
was Anne Anderson.
