'More on the
RNA school
•from page 1
4 and to end in Aug. 1994: Cones-
toga College will provide
management services with a view to
operating the program directly next •
year as a satellite.
However, Mr. Koch noted the
money from .Canada Ernployment
Should not be confused with ' the
shortfall of funding by the Ministry
of Health related to the closeout
costs of the RNA school earlier this
year.
He explained part of the closing
out costs included settlement pack-
ages' for staff members at the
school.
The hospital had budgeted for
$75,900 for the year (including
closeout costs) while the Ministry
had offered $35,000..
The fact that the school is starting
up again does not make up for the
funding shortfall said. Mr. Koch.
Of the teaching staff, only Linda
Kieffer will return as project co-
ordinator.
The nursing assistant school will
be under the direction of Conestoga
College which will set policy and
the curriculum.
