Visitors coming into Kincardine
from the south end of Highway 21
will no longer' be greeted by the
welcome 'sign, "Where you are a
stranger only once."
The welcome message, located
under the population sign, was
stolen Aug. 6 after a citizen report-
ed seeing people trying to remove
the sign.
When OPP arrived, the sign was
gone and, after searching the area,
police were unable to find the
thieves.
Staff Sergeant Al Neville said
when they find the sign, the person
with it will be charged with theft
and possession of stolen .property.
