10th annual bake sale,
bazaar is successful
A very successful 10th annual
Bake Sale, Bazaar and Tea was
held at Ashfield Presbyterian
Church on July 17.
Favorable weather attributed to
the large attendance. The ladies of
the congregation are thanked for
their donations of food, plants,
flowers, produce, sewing and ar-
ticles for the "this and that" table.
Thanks also to those who looked
after the different tables and gave
of their time. The response to the
sale of tickets for the quilt was
beyond expectations.
The quilt was won by Mrs. M.
Rumig of 246 Ottawa SL,
Kitchener; 2nd prize, a . towel set
was won by Jane West, R.R.#3,
Goderich; and 3rd prize, patio place
mats, was ' won by Janice Sloetjes,
Church St., Goderich.

to visited on the weekend with her
mother, Mrs. Dorothy Finlayson.
Mrs, Kathleen Calvert of Sarnia
visited on the weekend with her

Visitors with Charlie and Mayme
Wilkins were Dave, Liz and Rebec-
ca Dadson of Ingersoll.
The Ashfield Presbyterian Church
held its annual bazaar and the ladies
were pleased with the results of
their efforts.
Sunday visitors with Charlie and
Mayme Wilkins were Laura and
Mabel Campbell of Toronto and
Bill and Joanne Wilkins. Their
granddaughter, Laura Wilkins, was
there for a few days visiting.
On Tuesday morning, Lloyd Irwin
and Mayme were away for the day
visiting with their sister, Ruby
Riach, and family at Woodstock,
Later on in the day they went to
Ingersoll to visit with Dave, Liz and
Rebecca Dadson.
