Pee Wee record stands
at six and two now
The Lucknow Pee Wee S's ball
team recorded three winsin a row
to give them a record of six wins
and two losses in regular season
play.
On June 28, in Dashwood, Luck -
now won with Craig Moffat leading
the way. Craig reached base three
tirnes and scored three runs. The
final score was 10 to 9 for Luck -
now. •
Lucknow was leading 10 to 4
going into the last inning and held
on to get by Dashwood handing
therm their first loss of the season.
Listowel vs Lucknow
. On July 7, the Listowel wain
visited Lucknow, with the home
town team scoring 10 runs in the
bottom of the first and five in the
second to take a 19 to 9 victory.
Pitching for Lucknow were Justin
Brown and Kiel Parrish. They
struck out six, walked' five and
Listowel batters collected nine hits.
Grey Courtney and Troy MacKen-
zie led Lucknow's offence collec-
ting five hits and scoring three runs
each.
Lucknow vs Lucan
Lucknow travelled to Lucan on
July 8 and came home with a 22 to
9 win.
The pitching staff of Paul Turner
and Justin Brown allowed eight
hits, walked four, hit two batters
and struck out three.
Lucknow's offence collected 12
hits and nine walks. Leading the
offence was Greg Courtney who
reached base four times, scored four
runs by hitting one single, two
triples and one homerun.
Next home game is being moved
to Dungannon Ball Park on Satur-
day, July 17, at 2 p.m:
Mosquito soccer team
downs Clinton 12-3
The Lucknow Mosquito soccer
division travelled to Clinton, and
although shorthanded brought home
at 12 to 3 victory. Justin Leeman
helped bolster the team numbers:
Both teams endured the heat
playing a terrific game of. soccer.
Darryl Aitchison scored four goals, •
Jonathon MacKinnon four, Josh
Leeman two, and Justin Leeman
and Tom Symes with one each.
Assists went to , Joshua .Leeman,
Marc Neidlinger and Justin
Leeman. The win was thanks to
team effort.
Saturday, . Aug. 7 is the season
closing tournament. All players are
' asked to be available for this wrap „
up.
