They visited with Brenda MacDonald for a time also. Brenda and her family lived on the Dore place just up from the Grove. Several, area residents attended the 1973 High School Reunion on Saturday in Wingham. Graham and Norma Thompson of Arthur visited Sunday with Don and Anne McCosh. Don and Anne McCosh visited Nina MacDonald and Edna and May Boyle at K:inloug this week. Happy birthday to Kay Collins. The family held a surprise party at Johnny and Marlene Collins'. Mar- gie and Dave Lockhead, Shanna, Rachel and Devon are visiting with Kay this week. Marie and Allan Coiling and Marj Thompson visited with Laurie and Mike Gallant on Sunday and feasted on lobster from the east coast. A bridal shower will be held NMI URPLE GROVE Thursday at 8 p.m. for Ruth Van Rooyen, at the Center. Kay Collins is requesting that all money for the bus trip be in this week. Elizabeth and Nathaniel Hudel, Mary Ann Kirkoly and Don and Anne McCosh were recent dinner guests of John and Joyce Farrell. Don and Marion Anderson (Mac- Kay) spent several days in the area visiting relatives. Florence and Lorraine Stanley of Toronto called on Edna Stanley recently. The McInnes and Edna Stanley attended the Farrell picnic in Dunsmoor Park on Sunday. Heather Clifford, Andrea Moulton and Christina Farrell are attending Silver Lake Camp this week. Carmen Farrell is attending Carnp Ganadoweth at Ayr. $1,000 in prizes available for winning farm safety video The Bruce County Farm Safety Association is coordinating a Farrn Safety Video Competition that is open to the public. Prizes totalling $1,000.00 will be awarded. Tbere are seven • topics to choose from in making your video. The emphasis is on safety, both in topic and produc- tion of video. Winning entries will be shown at the International Plowing Match in the County Tent, Sep- tember 21 to the 25. Application forms are available from: Agriculture Employment Services, Box 908, 200 McNab Street, Walkerton, Ontario, NOG 2V0, 881-3671. This competition is sponsored by the Bruce County F.arm Safety Association and the On- tario Ministry of Health.
