Nora (TJ) born June 5, 1993,
weighing 6 lbs. 2 oz., a wee sister
for Tiffany and Stephanie.
Grandparents are Raymond and
Joan Hoggarth, Londesboro; Valerie
Webb, Listowel; and Ernie Webb,
Mount Forest. Great grandfather is
Fred Fowler, Londesboro, and great
grandmother is Gladys Hoggarth,
Clinton.
VAN OSCH - Morris and Janice,
of R.R. 7, Lucknow are delighted
with the safe arrival of their son,
Ryan William, a brother for Peter
and Kent. Ryan was born June 17,
1993 at Wingham and District
Hospital, weighing 8 lbs. 11 oz.

Betty Van Osch of R.R. 3,
Lucknow, W. Ear) Halliday of
Chatsworth, and Shirley McInnis of
Owen Sound.

21, 1993, weighing 8 lbs. 7 oz.

TOOP - Christine Simpson and
David Toop are happy to announce
the arrival of their daughter, Kaia
Christine, at Guelph General
Hospital, on June 3, 1993. Proud
grandparents are Donald and Edith
Sinipson of Ashfield Township, and
Mrs. Helvi Toop of Brampton.
It was another busy weekend
around ,Lucknow with two auction
sales Friday evening. Mary Peddle's
on Hamilton Street and the, Winnie
Fisher Estate in the arena.
Saturday was the Grand Opening
of Stationary Computer Supplies,
the open house at the new Pegg
Construction and Building Centre,
the come and go tea at the. Town
Hall in honor of Gordon
Johnstone's 80th birthday and the
beef barbecue at Camp Kintail.
Sunday afternoon was the
farewell tea at the public school to
honor Gordon Cayley on his
retirement.
Sunday was also the annual Sun-
day `School Service and Picnic in
the Lucknow Presbyterian Church.
Taking part in the service lad by
Claire Weir were scripture readings
by Craig and Ean Moffat; respon-
sive reading by Lindsey Raymond;
opening prayer by Sherri McCrack-
en; Sunday School choir accom-
panied by Diane Hawthorne on her
guitar, and the children's story by
Pat Weir and Laura.
The offering that had been
gathered by Paula and Sarah
Taylor, Jennifer Moffat and Sarah
Morrison was dedicated by.
Jonathon Drennan.
Following the service everyone
enjoyed a picnic lunch and games
on the lawn.
On Wednesday of last week Elsie
Houston entertained Mr. and Mrs.
Albert Caswell of Swift Current,
Sask., who were visiting Ontario.

The Bruce South District
Women's Institute 55th anniversary
picnic was held at Belmore last
Wednesday. Representing Lucknow
W.I. were Mabel Whitby, Edna
Young, Kay McIntosh, Rita Gil-
more and Celia Aitchison and from
Kairshea W.I. Una Matthews, Mary
Lavis, Vera Schmidt and Elsie
Houston.
Home for the weekend with Gor-
don and Bernice Johnstone and
hosting the birthday party were
John and Janet of Ajax, Bruce,
Marianne and girls of Chatham,
Bob and Marion McComb, Matthew
and Olivia of Castleton and Aunt
Myrtle of Goderich.
Congratulations and best wishes
go out this week to Grace Campbell
of Pinecrest Manor who celebrates
her 98th birthday on Wednesday,
June 30.
The Loree family were all home
Sunday to finalize plans for the
Loree Reunion next week at Bruce.

There were five tables of shoot in
play at the Drop in Centre. High
lady was Lois Cunningham, low
lady Betty Ritchie. High man was
Andy Scott, with Herb McQuillin in
the last spot. Most shoots went to
Ella Hand.
Andy Thomas Anderson, B.A.,
M.Ed., Ph.D., of ,Stratford,
received his Ph,D. in Education at
Michigan State University in
December majoring in Teacher
Learning and StaffDevelopment.
Andy attended F.E. Madill Secon-
dary School in Wingham, Univer-
sity of Waterloo and Stratford
Teachers College. In 1980 Andy
completed his Masters Degree in
Education at the University of
Western Ontario, and in 1990
was installed as a member of the
Phi Bet Delta Honour Society for
International Scholars at
Michigan State University. Andy
is currently employed at the
Faculty. of Education at the
University of Western Ontario.
His research interests include
motor learning strategies and
teacher education. Andy is the
son of Dorothy Anderson of
Lucknow, and the late Tom
Anderson. Congratulations from
your Mom, wife Bonnie, daughter.

Harrisons hold 58th reunion
The 58th annual Harrison Reunion
was held June 12 at Huron Centen-
nial School with 37 in attendance.
It was a great day for everyone to
visit and participate in races, relays
and other challenging contests
prepared by Brenda and Brian
Steele.

Following dinner, prizes and gifts

meeting was held. A committee
