Congratulations to Mr. and Mrs. Murray Barr (Michele Hodgins) who were married on Saturday, June 26 at the Kinlough Anglican Church. On Sunday last Michele. held an open house when relatives, friends and neighbors were able to see her trousseau and her lovely wedding and shower gifts. All enjoyed a social time and lovely refreshments were served. Mr. and Mrs. Ellison Hodgins, of Kinloss, spent last Sunday evening with Edna and May Boyle. Friday was the last day of school before the holidays and we wish both teachers and students a good summer. Jean Hedley will be attending a --Pro-Life conference at St. John's, Newfoundland, July 1 to 3. Lucas Thacker returned home after completing his page program at Toronto. While there he was hosted by Mr. and Mrs. John Colix- to of Brampton. Their son Ron came home with Lucas for a visit and, on Sunday, his parents visited here with Mr. and Mrs. Eric Thack- er and family and Ron returned' home with them. Lenore Sutherland, of Leaside, and Audrey Borthwick, -of St. Catharines visited with relatives on Sunday attending the Barr/Hodgins wedding.
