lead offence
The Pee Wee B hardball team's
record now stands at two wins and
two losses after dropping a 12 - 10
decision to Exeter on June 10.
Lucknow's offence left the bases
loaded three times and were unable
to score as they couldn't get the
timely base hit.
. Greg Courtney and Troy MacK-
enzie led the offence with their
bats:
The pitching staff of Nathan
VanderKlippe, Kiel Famish and
Justin Brown issued 16 walks,
Struck out five and allowed three
hits.
The next home game is Wednes-
day, June 23, 7 p.m.
. News from the
soccer field

underway with great participation
from 38 girls and boys. They are
divided into six teams that play
intramural games every Monday
evening from •7 to 8 p.m. at the
Kinsmen soccer field. Stop by and
watch these energetic children.
The week of June 7 to 10 proved
very successful( for the Lucknow
league teams.
Mustangs
• The Atom Mustangs travelled to
Wingham. Both teams were evenly
matched throughout the game. In
the second half Steve VanderKlippe
had a burst of , speed managing a
break away to score the game's
only goal.
Lions
The Atom Lions hosted Blyth,
and both teams kept the spectators
in suspense. as the ball went from
one end of the field to the other.
Matt and Jeff Selkirk played well
feeding the ball to Russ Mann who
scored three goals. Defence was
strong keeping Blyth to two goals.
Mosquitos
The Mosquitos played a very
strong Goderich team this .week.
Lucknow found it difficult to get
past the powerful Goderich defence.
Goderich had many shots on goal
and managed to kick in four' goals.
Final score Goderich 4, Lucknow 0.
Pee Wees
The Lucknow Pee Wees are
proving to be a strong force in the
league. They hosted Clinton on
June 9 and the visitors found out
early they couldn't penetrate the
quick defence of Trevor Moffat and
Chris Gibbons.
Lucknow forwards moved the ball
I ahead to score four goals. Scoring
were Jeff Porter, Chad Freeman,
Trevor Humphrey and Andrew
Cleland.
