Peewee Bs keep busy
The Lucknow Peewee's travelled to Kincardine. on Sat., June 5 to.
participate in the Legion Zone Ball Tournament. Lucknow played two
games in the morning, losing 8-3 to Goderich and 19-3 to Kincardine.
Lucknow stayed close to Goderich in the first game until the third
inning when Goderich scored two to take the lead and go on to the win.
In the second game, Lucknow was mercied by Kincardine. Special
note to this victory by Kincardine is that they scored mostof their runs
after Lpcknow's defence had two outs on them in three different
innings.
The teams in this tournament were all "A" teams with Lucknow's
being a "B" team. With each game, the players are developing their
skills and gaining confidence. The team would like to thank ' the
Lucknow Legion for entering them in this tournament.
