The school. year is drawing to a

been busy.
"We love Ottawa!" The seventh

a school `trip to Ottawa. The
students spent three wonderful days
in the capital city of Canada, seeing
its sights. They went ona tour of
Parliament, visited the Royal
Canadian mint and .thc Supreme
Court. They had even raised enough
money for a hotel! The students
would Tike to give a big Thank You
to all of you who supplied them
with jobs.
"Come on! You can do it. Hit a
home run!" On Wed., June 2, the
sixth, seventh and eighth grade
students took part in a softball
tournament against other schools.
Everyone played well.
Congratulations to the girls' team
who placed first. The boys' team
didn't place, but after all 'It doesn't
matter if you win or lose; it's how
you play the game.'
On Fri., June 4, the entire school
took part in Track and Field Day.
Everyone had been practicing. It
paid off as everyone did their best.

bons were handed out.
"Let's go to the 'woods today!"
Mrs. Bakalaar always takes her

hike in the woods to see the tril-
liums blooming. All of the kinder-
gartners enjoyed it.
