Harold E. Haldenby ."
1922 - 1993
Harold Ernest Haldenby, died at
St. Joseph's Health Centre, Sarnia,
on May 11, 1993, at the age of 71,
He was born in Kinloss Township
on Apr. 6, 1922, a son of' the late
George W. and Lavina Violet E.
(Bell) Haldenby. Mr. Haldenby was
a life long member of the Anglican
Church in Kinlough and a
Minister's Warden for many years.
Mr. Haldenby moved to Sarnia in
1967 and was employed at Delta
Electric Enterprises until his
retirement in 1987. He received a
plaque in recognition of 20 years of
valued service, also a certificate for
50 years in the electrical industry.

OBITUARY
In his retirement, Mr. Haldenby
took great pride in building model
steam, engines and seeing them run.
He is survived by his wife Laura
(Breckles) of Sarnia. Mr. and Mrs.
Haldenby celebrated their 50th
wedding anniversary on Dec. 26,
1992.
Also left to mourn his passing are
children Harold Barry Haldenby
and his wife Marie, of Lucknow;

seven grandchildren, and a sister
Ethel May Sparling and her hus-
band Clare of Walkerton.
He was predeceased by one
grandchild.

was held from St. Bartholomew's
Anglican C arch, Sarnia, with the
Rev. Brian S oesmith officiating on
