Hailey's great grandparents are Helen and Harold Jewell of Goderich, and Lily Rivett of Huronview. Hailey says hi to all her uncles, aunts and cousins in the Dungannon area. Her son, Robert Hewat of West Vancouver and his daughter, Jodi of Toronto, spent Saturday in Luck - now with them. Austin and Mildred Loree spent last week in Listowel with their grandchildren, Jennifer, Jeff and Matthew, while their parents • en- joyed a well-earned vacation in Aruba. Friday was grandparents' day at the school where the children attend so they took in those ac- tivities. Happy 95th Miss Laidlaw Annie Laidlaw, a resident at ! Maple Breezes, Manor, Lucknpw, celebrated her 95th birthday on May 5. She lived the greater part of her life In West Wawanosh Township. WMS Chalmers Women's Missionary Society held their April meting on the 28th in the church basement. WHITECHURCH by Jean Ross with Norma Rintoul and Helen Rintoul as the leaders. Norma gave the call to worship. The topic was Easter and spring. Readings were given by Kathleen. Elliott, Jean Ross, Mildred Purdon. Norma gave the Easter topic. President Kathleen Elliott con- ducted the business. The new visiting committee is comprised of Norma Rintoul and Dora Neilson. Dessert was served prepared by Mary Simpson who was unable to attend.
