A total of 20 blocks, comprised of five winners and the balance honorable mentions will make up the quilt .which tickets are now being sold on. A total of forty-three Hearts and Flowers quttt blocks were received by the committee for judging. Christine Farrell participated in the Kiwanis Music Festival last Tuesday. A large crowd sat down to a hot supper at the United Church in Ripley Sunday afternoon. Doug and Shirley MacDonald attended a pot luck dinner at Leo Murray's of Holyrod, to set up a wagon train for May 24 weekend. Ian. and Megan MacDonald at- tended an Invitational tournament in Bramalea. Congratulations to Megan who placed first in her class. Thursday morning, Mrs. Cameron McAuley, Mrs. Norah Littler and Mrs. Maureen Smit visited with Anne and Don McCosh. In the afternoon John, Joyce, Tanya and Tobi Kay Farrell and Dick McCosh enjoyed the birthday get together in honour of Tanya's fifteenth birthday.' Congratulations. Donald, Dianne, Ainslie, Elizabeth and Dayna attended Don's sister's wedding at Ashfield Presbyterian Church last Saturday. A small crowd enjoyed the card party at the committee centre last Friday evening. Winners were, Verna Evans, Harvey Thompson, Maralyn Reid, Joyce Farrell and Beatrice Pollock. Mrs. Verna Evans of Sarnia spent last weekend with Kay Collins. Happy Birthday Mathew McGil- livray who celebrated his eight birthday on Apr. 26. Business association meets The Ripley -Huron Business As- sociation held a meeting on Tues- day, Apr. 22. Plans are being made to hold the second annual yard and sidewalk sale Saturday, May 22 beginning at 8 p.m. Spaces will be available for out of town par- ticipants.
