Square dancing club
winds down for season.
"Square your sets. -bow .to your
partner, -say hi to your corner ...."
Approximately 50 brightly clad
square dancers were treated to a
wonderful evening Apr. 8. Fol-
lowing a visit to the Nursing Home
in Lucknow where the club enter-
tained the residents, regular caller
Neva McVittie and guest caller,
Don Edgar, kept everyone swinging
with their "singing calls", some
dimes in duet and sometimes solo.
During the breaks, the round
dancers and line dancers showed off
their routines. Spot prizes were
given out during some "regular -
type" dances.
Two squares of eight from the
Clinton Club were attending to
recover the club banner. To
complete the evening a table full of
goodies was thoroughly enjoyed
along with a surprise visit from Mr.
and Mrs. Easter Bunny and their
basket of treats.
May 5, completes the club's year
with a banquet at St. Helen's Hall.
Club graduates will be honoured at
this time as well. Regular dance
nights are Wednesdays, so mark
these nights next fall and join in.
