A new business, Huron and Bruce
Machinery, that opened Feb. I, is
finding "growth slow due to zoning
restrictions."
However, owner' Rene Arsenault
believes he made the right decision
in expanding. Mr. Arsenault had
carried on a small scale machiney
and woodworking business in Dun-
gannon since 1982. Citing the fact
that large companies are. stream-
lining and looking outwards for
small businesses to job work out to,
Mr. Arsenault said, "It was the right
time considering the, way the
economy is." From his point of
.,
view . the recession has turned
around.
Two innovative minds, Mr. Ar-
senault and employee Dave Vannat-
to, "design, build and sell
machinery for all types of manufac-
turing." Their motto could easily be
.'never -say it can't be done.'
• Huron and Bruce Machinery is a
-nfortunate h's'ti
wait many months for a part if the
machine breaks down. A machine
shop and welding facilities can be
found on site.
Huron and Bruce Machinery is
located at 579 Campbell Street,
Lucknow, and is open six days a
week 8 a.m. to 5 +.m. +hone 528-
