"Let Us Introduce Ourselves"
In the fall of 1992, the Ohtario
Farm Wotnen's Network
(OFWN) .released a directory,
"Let Us Introduce Ourselves".
The directory profiles farm
women who have indicated they
want to play a role in the agri-
cultural industry., They want to
participate in the decisions that
are made; decisions that will
have an impact on their industry,
their communities and their
families.
In this Farm Progress issue
you will find interviews with
some of those profiled in the
directory. •
The forward in the directory
reads, "Farm women priorities
and principles may not differ
from those of farm men, but we
do differ in our daily experi-
ences. We differ in our socializ-
ation; we differ in therange of

presented to - us. These differ-
ences enable us to s c things
from unique perspectives, which
we wish to share with you."
For more information, or a
copy of the directory, contact

Annual meeting'
The OFWN will host its fifth
annual meeting and conference
on April 2 and 3 and the Holi-
day Inn, Guelph.
The theme of the conference
this. year is "Making a Differ-
ence." President Corry Martens
says, "As we look back at our
achievements in this short time,
together we find. strength and
purpose for our future activities.
The program will offer some-
thing for everyone, and there are
always the added pleasures of
meeting people who know what
you're talking about, who have
the same experiences (good or
bad) and who can help you to
rejuvenate.,"
Pre -registration is necessary. If
you would like further informa-
tion on this conference contact
Jayne Brady-Miltenburg at 529-
3241 immediately. Registration
will be accepted until March 22.
