Sympathy is also extended to Joan Pollard on the !kissing of her aunt, Ruth Henderson of Kincardine. Bruce and Barb Willits and fam- ily along with other members of the Willits family attended the baptism of John Walter, infant son of Murray and Jane Willits on Sunday in London. . Cora May Mawhinney Cora May Mawhinney, of Walter Street, R.R. 1, Lucknow, died at University Hospital, London, on February 4, 1993, in her 79th year. The former Cora May Smith was born in Culross, Township on Octo- ber 17, 1914, a daughter of the late Lawn. and Flossy" (Rawn) Smith. Mrs. Mawhinney is survived by her children Alex, of Lucknow, Janet and Jim Lyons of Lucknow, Ivan and Doreen Mawhinney of Paisley, Marilyn and Fred Summers of Lucknow, Alfred and Beth Mawhinney of Brussels; 10 grandchildren and eight - great grandchildren. OBITUARY . Also left to mourn her passing are sisters Mary Guest of Holyrood, Florence. Vickers of Lucknow, Dorothy Ziegler of Goderich. • Mrs. Mawhinney was predeceased by her husband Clarence. Rev. Albert Cook conducted the funeral at the MacKenzie and McCreath Funeral Home, Lucknow on Sunday, February 7. Spring interment South Kinloss Cemetery.
