Maitland Presbyterial report
The weatherman was forecasting
flurries and snow squalls but we
were blessed with bright sunshine
for the annual meeting of Maitland
Presbyterial on January 18 in St.
Andrew's Presbyterian Church,
Wingham.
The theme for the , day was
"Whom Will You Touch Today?"
President Erlma Haldenby opened
the meeting with a reading "Reach-
ing 'for Rainbows" and prayer,
followed by everyone joining in
singing "Help us to help each other,
Lord".
Genie Tiffin, of the Wingham
afternoon society, welcomed every-
one to St. Andrew's.
The morning session was taken
up. With the reading of the various
reports, showing another very suc-
cessful year in spite of a decrease
in the active members and an
increase in the associate members.
We were able to view the video
"After the Storm, Power and Peace
in the Middle East," which'may be
used with our studies this year.
Agnes Bregman brought greetings
from Synodical and Council and,

from Presbytery. He suggested
mission is a team effort for the
minister and the missionary groups
to encourage. all members of the
church to become more involved in
the spreading of the Gospel.

theme, Erlma chose the reading
"Reach Out and Touch" to open the
afternoon sessionand the hymn "He
Touched Me".

the story of the Good Samaritan
