Novice "B" lose close one to Teeswater
On January 2, the Lucknow Nov-
ice "B" team travelled to Teeswater
losing by one goal.
Jeremy Austin scored the first
goal 'assisted by Scott Austin and
Derek Hbggart. The second goal',
was by Scott Austin. In the last
seconds of the game Cory
Robertson dented the twine on* an,
assist by Graham Cook.
Final score Teeswater 4, Lucknow

O'h January 4, the Belmore team
visited Lucknow with the visiting
team taking home a 6 to 3 victory.
Lucknow's first goal was taken
by Jeremy Austin, the second by
Tim Holmes. ,and the third by
Jeremy Austin with his brother
Scott assisting. Great games team!

win against Teeswater.
Rob McGee and Mark Stanley
proved to be the stars of the night
with Rob scoring two goals and
three assists and Mark scoring twice
with two assists. Jeff Andrew added
one goal and Jordan Hamilton an.
assist.
Despite having a three -goal lead
in the third, Lucknow allowed the
"Teeswater team to tie the game
before scoring the game winning
goal with only one minute showing
in the clock.
Final score Lucknow 5, Teeswater

Clifford Tournament
On Saturday the team travelled to
Clifford to take ,part in a touma-
ment.
Lucknow's first game was against
Mount Forest. It soon became
apparent that Lucknow was out
matched. In a losing effort Rob
McGee scored twice assisted both
times by Mark Stanley. Mount
Forest went on to win the game by
a 7 to 2 score.
The second game of the tourney
was against Belmore. In season
play, Lucknow won against this
team but couldn't manage to beat
the• hot Belmore goalie. The final

On Sunday the team played
against Kincardine in a regular
schedule game. From the first face
off, Kincardine outplayed the
Lucknow team with the final score
Kincardine 6, Lucknow 0.
Lucknow's next home game is
Friday night at 7 p.m, against
Mildmay.
Priestap leads
Lancer attack
LANCERS
The Lucknow Lancers kept pace
with the opposition with,.a 6-5 win
over Mildmay. Dean Lindsay kept,
the Lancers in the game with some
good goaltending . as the locals
trailed Mildmay 4-3 after two
periods of .play.
13rad,Priestap once again led the.
Lancer attack with two goals and
two assists with singles going to
Steve Simpson, Chris Irwin, Art
Clark and defenceman turned for-
ward Andy Grazier.
The Lancers travel to Ripley on
Friday night and play in Grand
Valley on Sunday night.

The Lucknow Pee Wee "Al' team •
visited Teeswater on January 4 with
the host team ' taking two quick
goals.
Teeswater started off the second
period, . but with only 5:34 left to
play, Lucknow's Jonathan
MacKinnon put the visitors on the
scoreboard; with the assist going. to
Brent Cameron. .
Teeswater went on to take ;a 4:1
win.
- Lucknow vs Ripley
On January 6, in Ripley, the first
period 'was filled with any scoring
chances for both teams but only one.
counted for each team. Lueknow's
goal was off the stick of Jonathan
Chilton with an assist from Craig
Moffat. .
The scoring in the secondlOiod
started as Dennis Lubbers chalked
up the go ahead goal with assists
going to Moffat and MacKinnon.
Ripley • tied it up but Chilton
scored agin to keep Lucknow in the
lead with an assist from George
Carter and Dale Courtney.
. Ripley scored again and went on
to win 5-3.
Mildmay vs Lucknow
On January 9, Mildmay came to.
the Sepoy Town and scored once to
Lucknow's two goals, which were
credited to Tim Vissor and Dennis
Lubbers, with Craig Moffat taking
an assist.
Mildmay tied it at two all in the
second period. ' •
Mildmay scored first in the third,
but 40 seconds later Lubbers scored
again with assists by Moffat and
MacKinnon.
Mildmay scored again and fin-
ished the game with a 4-3 victory.
Nice try on all three games!
