Approximately 100 people Maegan and Dean of Owen Sound
gathered at the Agricultural Hall in
the village for the annual New
Year's Eve dance, sponsored by the
Dungannon Agricultural Society.
Along with balloons and noise
,makers, the -first 10 ladies to arrive
at the dance received a white and
silver corsage. The crowd danced
away the last hours of 1992to the
melodic strains of the band named
Shades; from Stratford,

traditional manner, a hot buffet was
served.
on January 26, the Society will
hold its annual meeting at the Agri-
cultural Hall, commencing with a
social time at 6:30 -p.m. The pot
luck supper will -begin at 7 p.m.,
with . a guest speaker to follow.

Kay Mole 'of Courtright and their

Oshawa, Belle's daughter Marion
Salo with her son Rodney and
daughter Lauranne and Belle's great
granddaughter Raeanne Salo, all of
London.
Pastor Enid Maize -Williams of
Guelph spent a few days with Frank
and Belle also.
A holiday guest at the manse was
Rev. Orilla Bogart's mother, Iva
Allen of Etobicoke.

celebrated in the Dungannon United
Church on January 3, under the
leadership of Rev. Orilla Bogart.

Lions Novice tournament on

Teeswater and came away with a 4-
2 win.

In the second ' period, Ricky
Andrew gave Lucknow a one goal
lead on an "assist from Russell
Mann. Nine seconds later Devin
Petteplace blasted one in ' from the
blue line with an assist by Andrew.
Teeswater scored a goal near the'
end of the second period to make it
2-1 for Lucknow after two.
In the third period, Teeswater tied
the game at two with less than four
minutes to play.

Tyler Hamilton and Bob Rayrtlond.

game against Drayton.
Drayton's "centreman Scott
Dobben proved too much for the
home boys as he scored four goals
and one assist to lead his team to
victory.
Drayton led by one at the end of
one period of play.
Lucknow's Tim Eadie tied the
game up with an assist from Jeff
McNee. Before the second period a
ended, Drayton scored to lead 2-1.
Drayton went ahead by two goals
early in the third, but with only two
minutes left Russell Mann scored to
cut the lead to 3-2.' Devin
Petteplace assisted on the goal.

before the end of the period to.
