On January 2, the Lucknow Nov-
ice "A" team played Ayton at the
Norrpanby arena.
Ayton took a one goal lead but
Lucknow's Russell Mann scored an
unassisted goal to tie the game.
Ayton scored again to lead by one
at the end of the first period. '
Lucknow's Tim Eadie tied the
game up in the second assisted by
Darlene Aitchison and Jeff McNee.
Ayton scored the only goal of the
third to come away with the 3-2
win.

players stepped on 'to the ice on
Sunday to take onthe Kincardine II

Not likely hungry for turkey, but
very hungry for their first win of
the season, Lucknow rose to the
attack early in the game.
Kincardine .successfully chalked
up the first three goals of the game
in the first period.
Early in the second, Kincardine
reminded us again who they
thought, were in charge. Not to be.
intimidated, Lucknow's Daryl
- Aitchison slammed one home,
assisted -by Shane Petteplacewith a
nice pass, to break the Kincardine
goaltender's shutout a minute later.
Kincardine replied with two ,more
in return.
In the third, Lucknow opened up
the game somewhat and rallied

by Christy Clough which boosted.

The Lucknow Atom houseleague team hosted Kincardine 1I on Saturday afternoon and displayed
their improved skills by holding the visiting team to one goal at the 1:03 mark of• the second

On Saturday, the Lucknow Atom
Houseleague played host '• to
Kincardine II. In a prior meeting;
Kincardine won by a large margin,
but his ' game proved to be much
closer.

On Sunday the team travelled to,
Ayton to play Normanby.

Normanby scored, but . Lucknow
came back when Matthew. Martin's
shot found the net, after a backhand
pass from Clint Gunter and Peter
Nadasdy:
Lucknow . took the lead after
Nadasdy on a break -away picked up

took a 12 - 8 win . over the north

Chris Irwin picked up two goals
with 'Scott Hackett and Brad
Priestap adding one each. Dean
Lindsay played the second half
allowing just two goals while pick-
ing 'up an assist to get the win. •
The Lucknow Lancers picked up
another win Sunday night with a -13
- . 1 score over Tiverton. The
Lancers remain tied with Mildmay
for fourth spot behind Grand Val-
ley, Dundalk and Ripley, while
Libn's Head, Tiverton and The 'offence watched in awe as
Teeswater hold the bottom spots: Dave Gibsoncaught the low corner
Sunday's . game ' saw - Chris with a blast from the blue line
Fryfogle's shutout bid spoiled mid- while cousin. Art took the high road
