DUAL PURPOSE DIGITAL THERMOMETER
The Medata Dual Purpose Digital Thermometer is designed
for fast accurate measurements of temperature in
animals and the surrounding environment. The instrument
is hand-held and powered by an easily obtainable
9v. alkaline battery giving up to 200 hours of continuous
use. A low battery indicator is provided on the display
area. Temperature measurements are indicated in degrees
centigrade with an accuracy of better than 0.1 °C over
normal temperature range and 0.1 °C in abnormal
temperatures. The standard instrument is complete with
a streamlined probe which is suitable for rectal temperature
measurement of animals. The same probe is used for
environmental temperature measurement, which can be fixed
to the optional telescopic extension if required.
The instrument is operated by a simple ON/OFF switch
which incorporated a TEST position for checking calibration
prior to use.
Range: 0 - 100°C
Optional 1 metre telescopic extension.
