The Rural Voice, 1983-08, Page 53Pinery, a well-developed and popular Pro-
vincial Park. The green water, huge sandy
beach and picnic areas make it one of the
nicest places for a family outing. Mid-
week is the best time, but ample space
takes care of overflow crowds on the
weekends. There is lots to do with nature
walks, hiking trails, interpretive program-
mes and enough space to ride bicycles,
which can be rented. Also for rent are pad-
dle boats and canoes for use on the
Ausable River. The family will also enjoy
the Lambton Heritage Museum just
across the road.
And so, before those lovely summer
days come to an end, make a firm resolve
to try out some of these favourite summer
outings. Perhaps we'll meet en route ---
happy holidays and safe driving. f -
