Maple Syrup.
Grandpa has a sugar Bush.
With many many trees,
To give good maple syrup
While cold nights still freeze.
On sunny days and fine
Sap runs from every tree
Through the plastic pipe line
While we watch to see.
In his sugar shanty
Grandpa boils the sap
To make good maple candy
With syrup from the tap.
It's fun to go and help him
And hear the birdies sing,
And bring home maple syrup
For eating in the spring.
