SPRING TIME ON THE FARM
It's springtime on the farm
There is so much to see
Green grass and daffodils
And buds upon a tree.
Working in the garden
Hoeing up the soil
Planting seeds and flowers
How eagerly we toil.
Then comes the rain and sunshine
We watch our garden grow
The radishes, corn and onions
All neatly in a row.
Listen to the birds that sing
High about it all
While we work or pause and look
Back and forth they call.
Where else but in the country
In summer time or spring
The fresh air, sun and showers
Such joy and gladness bring.
