Presentation made by Mr. Broadfoot and Mr. McCartney - Motion by Sharon Boylan, seconded by Eric Prescott that HCFA act as a 'mediator' between Tuckersmith Twp. & County Council Motion carried. Guests— John McNeilly, CA from Ward & Mallette, Exeter Peter Mason - Marketing Manager of CANFARM, - introduced by Hans Ras- mussen - Both men spoke on farm financial management, financial records, computers, micro - computers for farm use & various other types of record keeping. Questions were asked by the members - after which Bob Coleman thanked Mr. Mason & Mr. McNeilly for their participa- tion. A computer was available for demonstration during the break. Mtg. - final form to be ready by November convention. FFAP—Farm Financial Assistance Pro- gram OFA has hired one person on a six months basis for solving these problems. Property Tax Proposal— Bill Trick, secretary of the Huron Federation Volunteer Task Force Com- mittee made a presentation on the proposal - the legislation is now in the advanced draft stage and could be presented to Parliament any day. - following groups are opposed to the proposal: Peel CFA, Huron County Council, Bruce County Council, Grey County Fd, Halton CFA, Simcoe County.
