other than whole wheat flour. Then add
whole wheat flour and other ingredi-
ents. Mix well. Pour into two greased
loaf pans.
Bake at 325 degrees F. (160 degrees
C.) for about 45 minutes.
CARROTY -MEAL BREAD
2 tbsp. peanut oil
1 c. finely grated carrot
3 tbsp. wheat germ (optional)
2 tsp. salt
3 c. corn meal
6 eggs, beaten
2 c. plain yogurt
2 c. buttermilk
Mix yogurt and buttermilk and add
the beaten eggs. Mix corn meal with
salt, wheat germ and carrot. Add first
mixture and stir just enough to blend.
Pour oil into 2 preheated 9" (22.5 cm)
ovenproof glass pie plates. Pour half of
mixture into each and bake in a 375
degree F. (190 degree C.) oven for 25 to
30 minutes or until golden. Serve warm
cut into wedges.
