WORLD LIFELINE"
Agriculture — Our World Lifeline" was the theme of Open House '82 at Centralia
College of Agricultural Technology at Huron Park recently.

4-H member designs
OMAF Christmas card
A Grey County 16 -year-old is the
winner of a 4-H competition to design
this year's Christmas card for the
Ministry of Agriculture and Food.
Joanne Weber, a grade 11 student at
Mount Forest District High School,
placed first in the contest, which was held
to encourage artistic expression among
4-H club members. One entry was invited
from each county or district.
The runner-up was Claudette Ray-
mond, 16, of Bonfield in Nipissing
District, while third place went to
12 -year-old Patty Beehler of Crysler in
Stormont County.
An enlargement of the winning entry,
which depicts a manger scene, will be on
display at the Rural Youth Centre at the
Royal Agricultural Winter Fair, Novem-
ber 11-20. The second -place will appear
on the cover of the November -December

ministry.
